You are Invited!

Welcome friends, I have been talking about it for months and finally I gave the bridesmaid luncheon. I think it turned out beautifully. Before I share about the luncheon with you I have to thank some wonderful folks. One of my favorite blogs ever is Gordon Gossip. If you have an hour or two , check it out.  She has so many cool things.  She has been emailing me for weeks with ideas for the luncheon.  She has been so supportive and helpful.  Isn't it wonderful the friends we make in blogland.?
Miss Janice has a wonderful blog also, not only did she call me, and email me she sent me place cards and the recipe for Strawberry Riesling that everyone enjoyed! She gave me so much inspiration about many things especially the menu.  Now let me tell you about the luncheon.  We had the luncheon at my mother's house.  Are you ready for this?  My mother gave Jessie's grandmother a baby shower for her Uncle in that house, I gave her Mom a bridal shower there and I gave her bridesmaid luncheon there.  Is that cool or what?  I hand delivered every invitation with a bouquet of roses.
I believe that made an impression don't you?I found the invitations on Etsy.  She designed them to look like the girls.  Here is a picture of them at the wedding, I think she came very close don't you?

My next post will be pictures of the luncheon (yes DeeDee I took pictures LOL).  I bought a disposable camera but I got pictures.

What do you think?

  5. I clicked on Gordon Gossip and got sucked in, but I'm back! ha ha!

I've never received a hand delivered invitation- but that would definitely make a big impression with me especially if it came with roses! How thoughtful are you?

I can't wait to see the pictures of the luncheon. I'm so happy for/proud of you!
