Inexpenive Tin Tiles

Welcome friends, another one of my 'many' projects.  LOL.  I know you have seen those tin squares in various magazines.  Well I bought 2 packs and installed them behind my stove and under the microwave.  First tip, buy a better adhesive so you don't hear click click click all night long.  All those tins falling to the ground.  Once you do that, It is really easy.  I like how it turned out.

Has anyone ever tried these before?

  1. Jeanette,
Excellent job on the tile backsplash! What kind of adhesive finally worked? We have never tried this type of tiling, but it turned out great.
I'm wishing you speedy recovery my friend, wish I was there to help... dee dee

  2. I haven't. We are going to do something on the backsplash after we replace countertops this winter. Yours look great!

  3. I like the copper tile look. Hope you found some good adhesive, not fun to have to keep sticking them back on.

  4. Girl, you AND your mom ARE Martha!! Love that tin backsplash!
