Welcome! Thank you for visiting. I am a nervous Nelly tonight. Tomorrow Josh goes to be spayed. She went to the vet today for preliminary work up. Of course my brain knows that everything is going to be fine. My heart is screaming, my baby is going to have surgery! Josh has the happiest personality. She is so good to me when I am sick. She has learned that when my tremors get really bad, she can lay across my legs and it actually helps. Well at 10 pounds it was precious, at 20 pounds it was sweet, at 30 pounds it was cute, at 40 pounds it was nice, at 50 pounds......well you get the picture.
Keep Josh in your thoughts tomorrow please. I will post when she is up and about tomorrow evening. I want to share that Doug and I have a huge decision to make in our life this week. It is a life changing decision. I wanted to post some recipes today but am using these 2 events in our lives to avoid everything. LOL.

Thank you for visiting. You can leave a get well comment for Josh, we are not telling Keelie (our puggle). It is for the best, trust me.
I will keep Josh and you in my prayers! My Charlie Kitty had surgery to remove a tumor in November and it scared me so much. He did just fine and the tumor was benign but was a huge incision to get it out. We won't tell Keelie! She will know something is up but maybe not exactly what. And you and Doug are in my prayers to give you peace about the decision you have to make.
ReplyDeleteJosh is in my prayers!!!
ReplyDeleteJosh is in my prayers! I hate for my animals to have any kind of surgery. They are like family to us. You are in my prayers as well.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Donna
Will keep Josh in my thoughts and prayers! All will be well...
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
Hoping for a quick recovery for Josh and a clear and peaceful decision for you and your hubby. Blessings to all.
ReplyDeleteJeanette, I surely hope that all goes well with Josh's surgery today. I will be keeping all of you in thought and prayer.
ReplyDelete(I hope the decision you must make turns out well for you too!) Blessings and big hugs (for Keelie too)!

You certainly have a lot on your plate today...and I'm sure everything will turn out just fine...the wait is always the toughest!...Best wishes...
ReplyDeleteOh poor Josh. Poor you. It's amazing how much those dear pets are part of our family. Please let us know how it goes! Hugs and positive energy coming your way!
ReplyDeleteOh, I know what you mean! It's like waiting for a family member to come out of surgery. Fortunately it's routine, but that doesn't make it any easier does it. I've got two that need to get neutered, a new stray cat who made his way to our home this spring and a puppy who is just now a year old. I've been putting it off due to the cost, but know that it needs to happen at some point.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by and visiting my food blog recently!
I've been through a couple of surgeries with my beagle and it is scary. It gets worse as they get older and they tell you the risks. They become just like kids. I hope you have peace with whatever decisions you are making.

Jeanette,
ReplyDeleteI will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this time. I tend to be a huge worrier esp with my kids and pets... However my darling Mastiff, Abby, has given me lots of experiences to worry through and each time she has come out just fine! Josh is a lab or lab mix if I remember and having owned two before they tend to be like wind-up toys, always happy go lucky and full of energy, ready to bounce back from anything!
I will pray that you might have blessed peace over both your decision and the surgery.
Oh... I won't tell Keelie, mummms the word!
Dee Dee
Good luck to Josh. Don't we love our pets?
