These are sometimes the "moments" to capture and have together time, I find. It would be funner or more purposeful to be on a beach in Mexico, huh...but we gotta seize what the Lord gives us. Hope you make wonderful memories and share hours together doing nothing in particular but hanging together.
I understand Josh is to be congratulated for her good "taste" in peaches and cream desserts! Now there's a pooch who know how to live! Love the "picture story" of her getting her piece of the pie! BIG SMILES!!! Coralie
Hi Jeanette, I understand where you're coming from! I always look forward to really long car trips, because it means my hubby will be right there beside me the whole way. I am glad that we don't have the snow to contend with though! I'm not sure how we'd handle it. It's a beautiful sunny 70 degrees today, I'm loving it. Thanks for joining Wednesday Gratitude, I appreciate your support! XO Heidi - Heart and Home
Jeanette, I'm am grateful that the snow has benefited you for the good! And I am grateful you have the extra week with Doug...enjoy it for all it's worth! Dee Dee
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. I would love it if you would join me in our journey of Starting Over. At a point when most of those our age are dreaming of retirement spots, we are beginning again. Our home has been Georgia for most of my life and all of my married life. A few years ago we took a huge step. My husband left his job and took one in IL. We had to sell most of our belongings because they just wouldn't fit in our IL home. Then the economy downturn reared it's ugly head. He lost his job, our house in Georgia had not sold so we headed back. He couldn't find a job in the states so after 18 months he took a job in Saudi Arabia. So join me in my quest to raise 2 dogs; Josh our Lab, Ning our Rescue and our 2 pot belly pigs Hamlet and YamYam. There will be stories of missing my wonderful husband, shopping to refurnish our country home, occasional poor health, decorating, gardening, recipes and whatever else happens in our lives. Join in any time, I love comments and feel free to email me anytime. So welcome friends and lets get to starting over.......
Time with hubs, especially if it means cuddles from the cold is great. Have a wonderful day! JGG!
